First off, this site is Dedicated to our Parents, as they have inspired us to learn, create, design, and Lovingly share with all, our creations.

My wife, Anna and I decided to build this site last year, November after experimenting with our smaller site at http://MystyIsles.mystarband.net. We are pleased to share with you photos of our home, St. George Island, Alaska.

We hope to provide you, the visitor, and those of you interested in visiting our community a better perspective of St. George Island. Enjoy the photos we have posted here for you. This site was launched January 7, 2003 for all to view.

We have kept our website as simple as possible, so that you may open the pages as quickly as possible here for your convenience. Thanks for visiting our site, and enjoy the photos presented!

For your information: These photos have been taken with a SONY DSC-F505V digital camera at 3.3 mega pixels, and a brand X tripod. The camera features a 52 mm Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar lens at 2,8/7,1-35,5 telephoto for all you photographic techies out there.

Other equipment includes a Minolta MAXXUM 5000i 35mm camera body, along with the following lenses: Minolta AF ZOOM 35-70mm 1:4 (22) 49 mm lens, and the Tamaron AF Aspherical XR LD (IF) 28-300mm 1:3.5-6.3 MACRO 62mm lens.

Scanning the 35mm negatives is a Minolta DIMAGE SCAN DUAL III AF-2840, negative film scanner. Coming soon to this site...Video presentations, but that is in the works here, and a special page will be built for the event, when it happens.

We added the Sony DSLR A-700 with the 16-105 mm lens, and the GN 56 flash unit, very pleased with the capabilities and results! All of the lenses named here are compatible with this camera as well.
